United Cutlery Dapper Defender Self Defense Brush Knife

I have a daughter, a daughter-in-law and 3 granddaughters 23 to 19. With the world today, I want them to be able to protect themselves. This is a neat concealed weapon for them to have. I don't think it's as intimidating for them to carry as a knife or gun would be.

These things are a hit among friends and family! All the ladies in my world are wanting one! I guess I can attest to it being woman approved, and YES! I know what a woman is!!!

I really like it. A lady can hand it to another, to brush her hair, and never know what it is! It's sharp too! And very affordable! I give them to friend's wives. Some creep would never see it coming, as a lady holds the brush before unsettling the dagger! ??

Got this for myself over a year ago. I love this defense brush. The brush does sometimes come off because I have thicker hair, but not disappointed! Would definitely buy again if the need ever arises. Don't need a lot of pressure to puncture, but it's dull enough to not have to worry about cuts when grabbing it by the shaft. Great present for a friend or Fam member too.

This is very nice product. The point is great. I'm trying to figure out how to sharpen it a little. The brush/comb is very good and sturdy. I use it for me and my pet.

I got this for my daughter thinking of self-defense. It is not the best tool out there, but it is still nice. It is not sharp on the edges so there is no fear of cutting, but the point is sharp enough and strong enough to go through skin, or at least really hurt someone should the need arise. Some have complained about the brush itself, but my daughter loves the brush part too and uses it every day. I am happy with the purchase.

Dual use for appearance and defense. They were Christmas gifts and the girls love them.

Not only is this item completely practical and serves it's purpose as a weapon, I have used the brush daily for about the last five years. It is the perfect gift for yourself and others.

Upon receipt of my brush knife, we discovered a major flaw. The brush became the absolute favorite grooming device of my cat! This cat HATES being brushed, and as soon as I took this out of the box, she jumped in my lap and let me brush her with it for an hour! Now I have to buy another one for my wife!

Simply put, I bought one for each of my Family Members. It should be understood, that these are for the Jabbing hand. Practice; with these as a Jab Extension for Defense; with the blade in direction of the pinky.

This is an important item to have for woman I have 3 daughters. I gave them to all the ladies I work with. They really appreciated it and feel safer.

The product is very nice. It is strong and will do what it was purchased for. I purchased two. One for my wife and one for my daughter. I purchases them for there self defense. People saying the brush is a joke of not good to use are being stupid. If you want a brush then buy a brush. If you want something that will protect your loved ones then. Buy this product.

The dagger part is good sturdy and will definitely hurt if the need arises. The brush is mostly ok. I lost a couple teeth after a couple weeks of use but have had it now for a few months and haven't lost anymore

I Bought 3 of them for my DD and DW. Wife has had a comb knife I got from another company many many years ago. This item gives a since of security and NOT false security. Practice Practice Practice How to carry and how YOU would use it. Problem we found out, Handle will only go into the brush one way, IT IS NOT round, if forced just a little bit it will split the brush but all up worth the money for a CQ weapon.

This is an emergency self defence weapon, not a daily use knife. As such, it has good potential in an emergency. To the people who want a sharp blade, not happening in plastic. Carry a steel blade for that.

Got this for my wife. She digs it. Since it's all plastic, it doesn't set off ANY metal detectors and looks like a brush going thru an xray. It's also cheap enough, that if it DID get confiscated after a scan, you aren't losing much. Only con is that the head does come off a bit easy when she's brushing her hair, but I put some black electrical tape around the bottom and put the head back on and it snugged it. Can still pull it off with ease, it just doesn't slide off so easily while in use. Good price, good point, good product. I recommend.

I bought this for my wife, and she told me that the brush is a joke. She said that no woman would ever brush her hair with it. The dagger is decent though. The tip bent to the side while stabbing a plastic container, so I just shaved down a bit, but I'm convinced that if used to stab into soft tissue that it would penetrate just fine. It would be more useful if it was bladed as well, so that way you could slash as well as stab. I would recommend carrying a knife instead of this. The idea is good, but it could've been done a lot better.
