Product Description
An undeniably modern take on a classic folding knife design, the officially licensed USMC "Blackout" Stiletto combines all the wicked ferocity of the iconic stiletto with contemporary tactical appointments and styling. And this impressively supersized "Colossal" version packs even more punch than the original USMC Blackout Combat Stiletto, with its menacingly enlarged blade and beefed up overall dimensions! Its potent 5" 420 stainless steel blade features the sleek spear point profile that old-school stiletto fans know and love and adds a distinctive blood groove and bold nonreflective black coating. Beautifully offsetting the blade's matte black finish, the famous USMC seal is carefully laser etched in white next to the razor sharp edge, flanked by the branch's illustrious, well-earned slogan - "Marines: The Few. The Proud." The chic blade deploys with incredible speed, thanks to the Colossal Blackout Stiletto's silky smooth assisted opening mechanism - easily triggered with the handy flipper. Cast from an advanced aluminum alloy, the handle is encircled by five green bands - an aesthetic nod to the historic USMC combat fighter knife and its legendary stacked leather handle. Engineered to satisfy the unique tactical demands and survival challenges of the modern era, the Colossal Blackout Stiletto's handle is extraordinarily durable yet lightweight, boasting an elegant diamond gun stock texture that virtually eliminates slippage, even in wet, muddy environments and other harsh conditions. "USMC" is laser etched at the handle's center, reminding all who see it that the Colossal Blackout Stiletto is built "Marine tough." Set at the base of the handle is a convenient steel glass breaker - another contemporary feature that's perfect for escaping (or assisting others in escaping) entrapment in a wrecked vehicle or burning building, where glass windows are the only means of exit. Add the built-in steel pocket clip, and you've got an outstanding, extra-large assisted opening folder that honors traditional wisdom, while taking full advantage of the latest and greatest innovations. And since it's officially licensed by the United States Marine Corps, you can rest assured the USMC Colossal Blackout Stiletto is in it for the long haul - a stout pocket knife you can rely on, come what may, just like a US Marine.
This knife is a real attention getter. I work with a bunch of rough necks. When this knife "snaps" open those men take a double look. Everyone recognizes the power of this blade. Everyday carry. Great knife v

I love it, it came on time I was amazed how sharp it was. I'm going to get the smaller 4" one. Probably another one of these for dual wielding. I definitely recommend this knife for self defense. Remember blade wielding is bloody buisness.

Tilted.
I bought the standard version first and finally after a few months i bought the big boy and like usual everything arrived in a timely manner.
how ever the blade was a bit tilted the knife it's self is just fine, everything works as it should so with the miner tilt a side its still
a great knife and the price for the standard version and this one is a steal, i recommend both.

Color Me Impressed!
After looking at this knife for a few years now, I finally decided to check it out. I held off because of the low price point. I was afraid it might be cheap junk. But, boy was I wrong. This knife is nice!! Solid, sturdy, all steel, surprisingly light and looks great. Sharp as a razor. Finish is excellent. The spring assist action is smooth and stiff. Locks up tight. No slop at all. I also tried out the engraving service. I had them put my name and rank on it. Love it. I was going to use it but it looks so nice I put it in my display case. If you've been wondering about buying this one, stop wondering and buy it. I'm sure you'll be equally impressed. I'm going to order the smaller version next.

Genuinely impressed, expected so much less
Opening it, box is kinda cheap and meh but it's just packaging so whatever lmao
The knife itself is built strong as hell, the blade is sharp, but not enough to shave with. The tip is extremely narrow (in a good way) and the knife itself is comfortable to hold, as somebody with big hands. If you have small hands I would just recommend buying a different knife or something, because you'll wanna use two hands on this thing lmao
Overall, super great quality. Super nice opening and locking, blade is good, I have no complaints, I fully recommend this.
*please please please make sure you check local knife laws/ordinances, WI has no knife restrictions, so I'm not worried. People from Pennsylvania or Cali would wanna find a different knife*

Nice knife, very sharp.
Very hard to open at first. Gets much better after a bit of lube and many openings.

Awesome knife
The knife is very sharp and opens quickly and easily. I have bought quite a few swords through this company and have been very happy with the purchases. I have only bought a few knives, and am happy with them all, but this one is definitely the best. It is sturdy and well built. Very tight, with no rattle. Folds out quick and stays locked in place. As a Marine, I wouldn't carry it if it didn't live up to the name.

Very good knife.
I really like this knife. It fully deploys without any hangups. Very sharp right out of the box. I especially like the glass breaker feature at the end of the handle. Carry it the glove of my vehicle just in case. I highly recommend this knife!

Hard to open, but very sharp
Much like someone else, I'm finding the knife hard to open without some extra help (pulling it open), but the blade is VERY sharp. I'm happy with it.

I like this a lot.
This is my current edc, clipped to the outside of my pocket. It deploys smoothly unlocks perfectly. I have worked this knife many times, kind of like a nervous tick. Never had anything unexpected happen. I am very confident that it will function properly if it ever comes to crunch time.

Works very well
I got mine about a month ago and it took a week for the lock to loosen up but it works very well now. I would recommend to anybody who is interested in this knife. I was stuck between this one and the smaller one and I thought this one was too big but after warming up to it, it's just right

Exceeded expectations
It's has good weight to it, it looks good, it's sharp, & operates smoothly. The only negative is the glass breaker. I tried it on an old van window I had for years and I had to hit it with a hammer in order for it to break. Not only was it very ineffective, it actually smashed the tip flat.

Highly overrated
The handle has a good spring and the blade locks up tight .However, the blade will jam open on you quite frequently and the handle is just a little to narrow for sure handed operations.
That said, it's a good knife for show in a collection but not good for EDC.

Disappointed
while the blade does have a nice edge, the assisted opening spring is too weak for this blade. It does not always open and lock in place like it should
