Product Description
The Tomahawk Brand® Big Bounty Hunter machete delivers a stout, full tang stainless steel blade with a razor sharp edge. Use this bad boy to clear brush, slice through limbs and so much more. The massive modified clip point blade boasts a carefully honed 13" edge, and the tang is encased in smooth wooden handles for a secure, firm grip. A nylon shoulder sheath is included for easy carriage. Measures 21" overall.
Surprised. Recent lower priced edged weapons ordered through BUDK have been positive surprises. This one is no exception. Excellent balance, perfect weight distribution, a little heavy but a good tradeoff for the heft of the blade, moderately sharp but fixable. For the price this is 5 stars.

Amazing!
OK: this is definitely the nicest machete I have ever beheld. The design is almost elvish, and the feel, weight and balance are zen-like. I'm in heaven! BudK hit this one outta the park!

Odd
This blade seems awesome, but has some issues. I can cut through a 3-4" price of live bamboo with one clean wack. If I cut a piece of bamboo that is under 1" it bent the blade, only on the bevel. It looked as if I had pressed my finger on the blade and pushed part of the bevel over. I know this is cheap but I did expect slightly better than what I got. Also the handle scales broke free after 25 bamboo stalks. If you just want to hang it on the wall, awesome. If you are looking for a tool, negative.

Tomahawk Bounty Hunter
Tomahawk Big Bounty Hunter Full Tang Machete With Sheath. I was really surprised when I opened the box and lay my eye's on the Machete! I had to find out how sharp it was and just about found out the hard way, it's very sharp right out of the box. Now the Sheath, they could of kept the sheath because it's hardly worth putting the Machete into it. Cheap, Cheap...................Love my new Machete and for the price you can't go wrong!

All That Was Advertised
What can I say that hasn't already be said except this knife not only looks good it cuts well. Mine was sharp "out of the box" and it actually looks better than the advertised picture. This is a good buy and a welcome addition to my collection.

don't mess with me!
i bought this on a whim, after getting it and taking a closer look at it, it says one thing clearly....don't mess with me! survival knife? possibly. camp knife? you bet! if your aim is good you could possibly use this to help in quartering a deer...maybe. great feel in my hand, darn good weight and balanced enough to use without hurting yourself or destroying the knife! i';m actually thinking about getting 2 more of these....one for a "beater".....one for my bug out bag and the one i have now....well, lets just say it wouldn't be wise to try to sneak up on me while i'm asleep! razor sharp? no it wasn't....it was sharp but not that sharp! minor work with a stone and a diamond rod did the trick very well! the sheath....what can i say there....it's nylon....it's a joke! but for 20.00 bucks, can't expect a leather sheath now can you? recommended? heck yes! get one....or more!

Elegance!
This an elegant piece. An awesome addition to my collection. I am sure it is fully functional but do not care. I bought it for looks. It was sharp out of the box and feels comfortable to hold. It has an old timey feel and simplistic look that i like. The wood handle has one or two minor imperfections that add to its old timey character and make it feel authentic in a way. I think anyone would be proud to own this. Thank you budk you have yet to disappoint!!

A Knife worth having....Reviewed by Luke F
First time writing of a review. I haven't had the urge to ever want to write a review but this product made me. The Up-sides: 1. Very sharp out of the box/ 2. The blade has a good weight balance/ 3. Great looking-the photo doesn't capture the awesomeness. Enhancements that would serve better handling in heavily wooded areas: 1. A little longer handle (for me-which I'm working on). 2. The strap on the carrier could be a little stronger as if constructed from a rolled formation as posed to the thin flat strap. However, buying this knife would be a super darn great investment and you will be surprised by the knife overall. Personally speaking, the knife I received is darn wonderful.

Sweet Bolo!
This is one of those times when the photo fails to describe the product. Magnificent shape and a really aggressive weight on the front end. I dub this knife the "dogleg bolo". $20 goes as a long way here...

just had to say wow
When i first opened the box the sword/machete did not impress me. It was just a plain looking thing, but once i held it and swung it around i was elated. It's very sharp, and it just has such an amazing feel to it...it's as easy to use as a smaller knife but its just a very provocative design.i recommend this highly i just love it

Sweet Knife
I bought this for my son, he loves it, very nice machete. But I favor my Timber rattler! ! Thanks Budk.

Another winner..
I bought this knife because I was fascinated with the shape and angle of the blade. I originally intended to use it to cut my banana plants but when I saw it I realized I didn't want to mess it up that way. So it will join my display knives...it's that nice. I'm a woodworker so I may refinish the scales in dark walnut but that's merely a personal preference. It's nice enough just as it is and I'm very tempted to order another one.

Awesome blade!!!
I love this machete! It's almost like a short sword you could use to chop down small branches and vines. Love it! Great quality and do plan on buying another one or two.

this is a knife!
I have been a customer of budk for several years and I must say that I have never been disappointed with the products that I have purchased. My only complaint is about the strap.it is too small but I love the way it works out with a zipper opening. Thanks for another great buy!

good knife
I bought this for a friend. He needed a machete that didn't cost a fortune that he could beat up. This one fills that requirement. It feels well made and for its size fairly well balanced. However for hacking through jungle, this knife would be torture. For taking out light stuff and hewing a limb or two, it works fine.
The sheath sucked but I don't like nylon sheaths. There is no way that the shoulder strap is going to fit a normal size person.

Needs more work
While I like the heft of the blade there is very little balance to it. Must absolutely be paying close attention to your surroundings and the swing or the imbalance will cause the tool to get away from you. The guards are glued on, no pins or welding, so they will come off after enough use. Handle is a bit long, so if you have a large hand (i.e. Wide) you're good to go, otherwise slippage will occur during use if you don't keep a tight grip.

loved it till it broke
i really put my blades threw some crap and this one stayed sharp threw it all but it can handle anything you want it to but i broke it trying to chop up a small tree and got it at a weird angle and it snapped right at the handle but until then it was awesome totally worth it will buy another.
