Product Description
Comfortably sized, impeccably balanced and strikingly beautiful - Timber Rattler's Hidden Corral Skinner packs plenty of premium features, but not the premium price. Superb weight distribution and an incredible hand feel allow for maximum control - especially important for delicate tasks like intricate carving, skinning or caping moderately sized game, and countless other precision cutting jobs. But that's not to say the Hidden Corral can't hack it in the big jobs. On the contrary, its 4 1/2" DamascTec steel blade is tough as nails and razor sharp - perfect for heavy duty slicing and cleaving chores. The striking DamascTec steel - with its hypnotic etched whirls and ellipses - ensures the Hidden Corral looks great while performing any task, large or small. As does the handsome hardwood handle, which is stained a rich umber to show off its vibrant natural grain. Gleaming, mirror polished aluminum guard and pommel offset the dark wood handle beautifully. Thanks to the pommel's integrated lanyard hole and the included heavy duty nylon belt sheath, the Hidden Corral is easy to transport - on remote trails, in suburban backyards and any locale in between. From the stately wood handle to the breathtaking DamascTec steel blade, the Hidden Corral is elegantly designed, making it ideal for display, as well. But regardless of how you use it or where you take it, since it's from Timber Rattler, you can always rely on the Hidden Corral Skinner to be a trusty, versatile and - best of all - affordable bladed companion.
Received it the other day, right on schedule. The knife looks awesome and had a decent edge when removed from box. The blade pattern looks awesome, and the handle feels great in the hand. Right from the box it cut what I had set out to test the blade with, with absolutely no issues and it held that edge as well. Just found my new edc knife. BudK did it again with another winner for me

Tiber rattler
A decent mid size knife. Decently crafted. Got 2 on bogo for like $12.. blades fine and handle is beautiful but I cant tell if it's a burn in or just epoxyed in, no tang pins but its held up very well so far. I love budk.

Go ahead "it's worth it"
Like the title says, "it's worth it" for sure. No your nit getting real Damascus, but your getting one nice knife thats worth the asking price! I generally dont like "Damastec" fake patterns but this pattern is nice. The pommel and guard are polished in high relief as well as the handle. I have nor put this knife to the test yet but i just know that it will pass with flying colors. What others have said about this knife is true in the sense that it fits in the hand like kit glove. The blade is has good thickness for light to light medium chore busting around the bush. The nylon sheath is reinforced well and is better quality. I already had a guy try to buy it from my hip and i like this knife so much that i directed him to the Budk website to get his own! Normally if it was a knife in this price range i would just give/gift it to someone if they liked it and order another to replace it, but not this time lol. But really ir is a very decent working knife for the price and i wholly recommend.

Solid knife!!
Ordered 4 of these for Christmas presents. Cannot say that I regret the decision one bit. These knives are awesome! They don't come razor sharp but they do have an edge. The blade is thicker than I thought it would be and the dark wooden handles are gorgeous! Sleek, solid profile with a nice weight, and a handle that contours nicely to your hands natural grip. Very impressed!! Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves a great knife! 5 stars!

Deserves a better sheath
The knife is beautiful, looks to be well crafted and has a nice edge from the factory. It also has good weight and feels good in the hand. The only negative I have is the cheap nylon sheath that really takes away from the knife and that’s the reason for the four stars.
