Mirroring the early pattern two-handed Claymore design wielded in medieval Scotland, this sword measures 43" overall. It offers a wide 31" stainless steel blade and a spiral hardwood handle. The distinctive brass plated guard slopes downward with the arms ending in quatrefoils.
I purchased this sword as a birthday gift for a friend. He was very happy to receive it!

Best Blade for the Buck...!!!
Beyond satisfied...! I was skeptical, to say the least. What was I going to get for this low price?! I received my order faster than expected and was thrilled to get what looks (to me) like a high quality replica sword. It is heavy and sturdy. Might not be the sword to take into battle but it is absolutely the sword for display...!!!

I bought this one and a Excalibur for the wall these are not fighting swords. Hence the price. If you are looking for real swords you will have to open your wallet. I love them both.

8 swords & no problems!
I just received my order of 8 Scottish Twisted Claymores (in 5 days!). Every sword was outstanding in appearance & quality. These are for my son's wedding in September, and I could not have done better had I hand picked each one myself! Many thanks, BudK...I will definitely recommend you to my family & friends.

AMAZING
I say this is the best affordable sword BUDK sells. To find a better sword would be hard and cost PLENTY more. The blade did wiggle VERY slightly, but putting cardboard down the slides of the handle solved it easily. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone.Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. great price classic look
this was my first buy from budk. I think i was in the 8th grade about 9 years by now, wow. Although i wouldn't swing at anything hard with it, the handle construction is as sturdy as it is pretty and feels right. Now, however i am 6'4", and i can wield it one-handed, but it's still my baby. The sheath was really raw leather, untreated and subject to tearing. I used beeswax to treat it, which darkened it up and reinforced fibers. The wood in the handle has started to loosen and chip, but that's because i like to swing it around and hear the wind whip! After 9 years still one of my favorites, and great price!

this sword is freakin awesome! i just got it today and i love it all ready! nothing really wrong with it, except the fact that it is a tiny bit wobbly, but that isn't a problem. i highly recommend it to any sword fan/collector. 5 out of 5!

This is the first sword I ever bought and I must say that it is, by far, my favorite. The sheath is a little too big, however that is easily fixed. I recomend this sword to everyone!

It is very awesome! We have a very large blade to go with it. Well even though its not full tang its still an awesome blade. Nothing wrong with it that i can find. Its very sturdy, very long blade, very strong blade of course. Really I dont know what else to say. Our first sword, and it wont be the last. (written by my 7 year old son)

One word i would use to describe this thing is beast. Honest to God, nothing compares to swinging around a well made broadsword such as this. I got it today, and I can't believe what a great deal i got. The only problem is that the blade is a tiny bit wobbly, but it's really hard to notice.

Buy it!

No questions asked!

claymore
I am happy with this sword. it is a nice piece for show or reenactments, but I wouldn't recommend swinging it around even though it does have a slight sharpness. it feels like if I tried to cut something with it it would lose the blade so i am not going to try that anytime soon. thanks budk i really like your products and am about to order again in a few more weeks

Why pay more for a claymore?
To start...I love this sword. It's the first sword I've added to my extensive knife collection and it's a perfect fit. I purchased this item for a display/costume piece. I am slightly disappointed with the craftsmanship of the piece, but for this price, its totally understandable. Thanks BudK. I look forward to purchasing more of your wares.

this sword is awesome its not sharp but its got a cool hand guard.

there are a couple bad thing though. Like the strap on the sheath is a little small and the blade is a tiny bit wobbly but you can't really feel it when you swing it.

other than that the sword is really good that's why i give it a 4 out of 5.

nice wall-hanger
excellent for the price, but I tried using it, and the blade became loose, the handle became very loose, and really wasn't for chopping, but it's now hanging on my wall, and does a good job at that. quality was fair for the price, the cross guard and pommel are fairly secure, but very strong, the handle is a little loose, and the blade is fairly built, but not great, but wiggly and not too secure to the welded on tang. altogether excellent for display, but not suggested for use

John Banks Nov 04, 2016 (2 out of 5)
not so great
Sword is fine but the handles is loose and the Scabbard sucks. it's not big enough to Sheth Sword well and the strap to put around to wear it on your back is child size and poorly made it brakes easy

I was greatly disappointed in this sword. First of all it is not an athentic claymore. Athentic Claymores are much larger. I also thought that the handle was leather and it is actually wood. That was just a downside. But the sword does have a great look to it, so if you want if for decoration then I would buy it. Although if you are a true collector pass on this item. Look somewhere else
