Ridge Runner Large Wichita Skinner Knife with Sheath

My KOTMC. Very clean steel. Could be a little sharper. The jigged bone handle is nice to hold. Handle is slightly to small for my hand. But a nice hold. Doesn't roll. The brass is nice and clean. Really pops out on this blade. Buy it

Got this for my KOTMC offering. This is probably the perfect let's go fishin' n' skin a buck make some fried taters kind of knife, a literal do-all. I'm impressed, that doesn't happen very often. Get one and see for yourselves...

MY FATHER AND UNCLE BOTH CARRIED A GOLDEN SPIKE KNIFE DEER HUNTING WHEN I WAS A KID IN THE 50'S AND I NOW HAVE MY FATHERS. THE BUD K WICHITA SKINNER IS ALMOST A CARBON COPY OF MY GOLDEN SPIKE. THIS KNIFE IS A QUALITY TOOL FOR THE DEER HUNTER AND ONE I WOULD BE PROUD TO CARRY. I BOUGHT TWO OF THEM TO GIVE TO MY GRANDSONS THIS DEER SEASON, AND THIS KNIFE SHOULD LAST THEM A LIFETIME OF DEER HUNTING. THE ONLY ISSUE IHAD WITH THE WICHITA SKINNER'S WAS THE BRASS END PIECE WAS A LITTLE LOOSE ON BOTH. I UNSCREWED THE END SCREW AND A LITTLE LOCTITE (RED 272) ON THE SCREW TOOK CARE OF THIS MINOR ISSUE. ALL IN ALL I WOULD RATE THIS KNIFE 10 OUT OF 10, AND PLAN TO BUY SEVERAL MORE OF THEM. IT'S A REAL QUALITY KNIFE FOR A GEAT PRICE!!

Bud K wants a review and I get 15% off my next purchase - OK! This is the third RR435 that I have purchased. That should say something for this knife. The knife is perfect for most skinning jobs for the hunter or trapper. I have used mine for squirrels and rabbits and up to deer sized animals. I wear it on hikes and it makes for an all around companion on the trail. However, the sheath is not worthy of this knife and I bought leather sheaths for all three knives and with the imitation stag grip with finger groves it not only feels good but looks good! A great knife for the money, worth triple the price. I gave one to my bro and kept the other two. Happy trails!

I bought two of these on for my brother and one for myself. The first time mine was used was on a wild hog I had killed. I could not for anything better. We used it to quarter out the hog even had to use a hammer in places and the knife did not fail. For a great skinning knife and one to cut up your kill you can't go wrong and the price is fantastic. I bought one of these knives and after receiving it ordered another one. This knife is an exact copy of the expensive Schrade Golden Spike but at less than half the price! I ordered a couple of new leather sheaths, Remington sheaths sold by Bud K and tossed the cheap nylon sheaths that came with it. This quality knife deserved to have a better quality sheath! I kept one and gave my bro one to go with his Winchester 30-30 1894 Golden Spike rifle! He loved his and I love mine and the quality is far above the price. When you see it you'll want more so buy several and save yourself on shipping of another order for one. It makes for an excellent, all-around outdoors knife and for a trusty companion on your belt or in your tent. If your wife says you can't buy another knife just tell her that you have a sheath that fits it and you don't want to throw a good sheath away. It worked for me....

The Wichita Skinner is a decent,small knife. It is also fairly sharp right out of the box and looks good too. It's a good value for the price.
