Budk knows what's up
So I get this package in the mail faster than anything I've ordered online, with free shipping!!! Once I ripped open my gear I found exactly what I ordered. Great knives at the best price.
The knives are smaller than I pictured but that is no problem, they come with a nice edge, they fit well in the hand. Finding the short distance I'm using now is easy and fun. Endless hours of relaxation and fun for less than $20.

Great deal!
My very first purchase from budk and what can I say, this is a great deal! These knives are small but do pack one heck of a punch for their size. The sheath could be a bit sturdier though, the knives can easily cut through them. So far that has happened to me hehe. I haven't bought a target from budk yet, so I practiced on some cardboard and then moved to my old dart board. Poor dart board haha. I've only used the first six knives to practice with, I'm saving the other six for when the time comes

Ham test reveals killer shuriken
Spent about 50 hrs spread over 3 mo. to learn a shuriken jutsu style no spin throw. I don't think this weapon is for anyone who isn't willing to take the time and effort to learn this skill which is required to make the darn things work properly. That said, aver several months practice I notice the deep penetrations I was getting into oak targets, so Ifr decided to give then the ham test. I clothed a 10 lb ham with a moving pad to simulate several layers of cloths. Next I winged 12 shots with these little gems and was very impressed with the results. Penetrations into the ham were

Trick knives
These knives are amazing. When I first got them and found my distance I became a pro. I learned how to throw the knives between the legs and backwards. Plus I was able to throw them 20 feet away and stick it into the wood every time. But You need to find your distance for the knives first and then go from their.

Very Nice
I love these knives. It's been a long time since I threw any knives and these are helping me get back into the groove quickly! Unfortunately I've already lost a few of them, but that's kinda par for the course with knives this small. I would recommend them to anyone beginning knife throwing or just trying out a new style.

Tiny but Mighty
I got a set of these a week ago, They were a little smaller than I expected but come really sharp and pointy! Perfect for throwing, they stick good and can take a lot. Plus really cheap for what you get.

Love em!
I ordered these knives last month, and I couldn't be happier! the price is far below even what I would expect form Budk. The knives are well balanced and I only have two half-problems with them. 1. They magnatize to each other easily 2. They shouldn't be thrown more than six at a time; if they get too packed together, they may hit each other and damage themselves. The sheath isn't much, but it does its job. be careful when putting your knives away in it, they will stab right through the thin cloth on the outside of the sheath. I'm not really sure why it has such a huge belt loop, but whatever. All in all, a fair set of knives for a more-than-fair price. Buy one with your next paycheck!

Amazing
This is a great kit, and I recommend it to all. Very sharp, got here fast, and are really quite durable. I thought this would be a rip off, but it is the exact opposite. A little light, but that's my only complaint. THANK YOU BUDK!!!

Excellent Knives! Very pleased
Not bad for $20!! These knives rock!! Solid construction. Been throwing at my wood (pine) target. They stick really well. They come plenty sharp right out of box. I think they are great for beginners and even the experienced thrower.

Epic One Sided Knives
Great knives, especially for just twenty dollars. Really good for a beginner and my style throwing. Slightly lighter than expected, but perfectly balanced with a sharp edge.

Great smaller knives
I love these knives. I've had one set for several years and wound up buying another set since I liked them so much. While these are relatively inexpensive, I've found that the steel has enough durability to bend a bit rather than break. They are not toys for kids to play with. I like to use these for throwing close distances, even indoors with appropriate precautions. I own a number of full sized name brand sets of pro throwing knives and hawks. These small knives work great with softer targets (e.g., cardboard, the BUDK dartboard type targets and even soft wood cross sections (e.g., pine, cypress, etc.). If you are new to throwing, I'd suggest these as a low cost entry level set. I expect blades to get small dents in the edges and the like. That is to be expected. In most cases these nicks can be corrected with a bit of sharpening. This whole set weighs about the same as one big 12" pro throwing knife, so they don't wear you out with a lot of practice.

12 knives for $20? Not only that but good shape, easy throw, and nice edge. If you're into throwing knives, this is a fantastic set for practice or application.

AWESOME!!!!!
These things r awesome!!! They spin a bit much, but they stick so easily into anything!!!!!!!! I just tapped the blade on my palm and i had gotten a deep cut, their a LITTLE harder to use ten i expected because of the spin, but you'll get used to it :). Also, if you hit the handle on something duck because it goes ricocheting at like 200 mph.

SWEET DEAL
Great deal 12 knives for 20$. I thought it was to good to be true but they are really not that bad! A little small and light but no problem they're great for practice. Nice sheath it is pretty compact. I am sticking about 10 out of 12. Good for beginners or someone who wants more practice, even great for indoor throwing. The best part is you can do more throwing less walking. You wont see a deal like this in many places. I'm yet to be disapointed with BudK!

Solid Knives
Good Knives. Throws relatively well; but like any knife you have to have no wind to be accurate. This is a good, inexpensive set for a first timer. If your a beginner, they will probably get damage while practicing, that's why I like these: Cheap, well made, and comes with plenty practice knives. Get good with these, then move on to a better quality knife throwing set.

GREAT NO SPIN TECHNIQUE KNIVES!
My friend recently bought a set of these and I have to say I was decently impressed. Usually I dont throw knives under 9 inches as I like the weight and length, however these work great for no spin throws. In fact we made up a target, painted 6 red and 6 blue and played a round of darts with them. I stuck em every time. they fly true. Wouldnt recommend them for spin throws, they are just too light. Warning to those who dont like a knife in their shin, these are sharp and when they bounce off they can come right back at you at high speed due to their light weight!! All I can say is im glad I throw with boots. :P

not very good to throw
When you get the knives, they come very very sharp. I haven't had any problems with them dulling yet. The only thing that needs to be sharp on a throwing knife is the tip, but on these the whole thing is sharp. These knives are so light that they are very very hard to stick into wood. You have to throw it as hard as you can and you'll have about a 2/10 chance, and when you throw it hard you can't make the knife fly smooth, it will be doing barrel rolls and back flips and 360s and all kinds of crazy stuff.

nice knives in my opinion but when i reseved them at least 8 of them had small chips in them and the case for them is weak i mest up a littel when i put it in and it poked straghit throw but i still like them

I was a little let down when I opened these up. The knives are puny, so small and lightweight that it is very difficult to throw them any real distance.

Practice-wise they are mediocre, and in a defence situation, laughable. The handles are too small and narrow to grip for close combat, and because of their extreme lightness, would be nearly impossible to throw into someone with enough force to penetrate.

Now on the positive side,
They are extremely sharp, I cut myself fairly badly while getting the packaging off. The steel is very attractive and has a nice bounce to it, and because of their dimunitive size, I can (somewhat) safely use them indoors on a dart board, which is nice when I feel like throwing at night.

Overall, a 5.5/10

These are decent throwers for a beginner like myself. The tips are durable but the blade edge is a little soft ,so you might wind up with some rough edges. Nothing a good old Soft Arkansas sharpening stone cannot take care of.
