Red Guardian Fantasy Sword With Sheath

Good, not great. I have just used mine to do some brush clearing, yep, used it like a machete. Awesome cutting and weight. Did not dull the edge at all. It arrived reasonably sharp. Now, the bad. Hate the handle. The leather wrap is cheap. It breaks easily. The handle end will cut into you. The sword is not solid metal, there is a weld line between the handle and the blade. Not a bad weld. I beat the crap out of it yesterday and my body gave up, the sword did not. So, I guess thanks are due BUDK. I had thought all of the very low cost swords were, well, light weight wall displays and nothing more. This one has proved me wrong. I will fashion a grip for it and then bring on the zomibes!

My friend got one and I just fell in love with it! Every thing about it made me want one, the handle wasn't THAT bad idk why people keep ripping on it. If you take good care of it it'll be fine. Over all loved it!

Very light. Needs to be sharpened but overall it's a great value. At first it seems like it's too light and it won't hold but it's nice. I wouldn't try to cut branches or anything hard like that but it's pretty sweet and for $16 its a nice short sword.

i was extreamly exited when i ordered the sword, and it came in two days! it was sharp straight out of the box. the red wrap is loose because it is opptinail if you want it on. amazing price for quality, thank you budk!

This sword is the most amazing light sword ive bought so far its so sharp can slice a large apple mid air (ive tested it) it is amazing but the only problem I noticed is that the black finish is off nothing else! Its amazing

This is a really great sword. the red grip is not that bad actually. its sharp and i like the teeth on it. this is a good zombie killing sword.<br /><br />p.s. <br /><br />i loved the Rainbow Dash you put on the box

Great looks, Awesome price, and in my opinion great size(weight and length). only down side was the sharpness, it was soooo sharp it wouldnt cut a balloon!! but besides it being very dull which will be easy to sharpen i think its worth getting

well this sword.... is freakin awesome i love it the only thing is its smaller the i thougt and the handle wrap is too thin but really great buy this it is worth it for a starter collector like me

just got this two days ago. came sharp and is really sturdy. only complaint is that i notice it can easily pierce through the sheath while in it. otherwise its a hell of a deal.

With a little sharpening, this is definitely worth the price. Very pleased with this purchase. the wrapping on the handle is garbage. but if you make your own, you have a well balanced weapon, intimidating in appearance and also reliable. Good buy

I. Just got the sword and I have to say it is pretty great a little smaller then I thought (which is better for me once I think about it) light weight. But it is kinda dull at the blade but I will correct all in all this is a great sword.

I got this sword about 8 min. ago I love it. First buy from budk, all I have to complain about is mine needs to be sharpened other than that it is great.

Every now & again, a sword comes along that begs for serious work & no-nonsense action---this is that sword!!!!! The serrated teeth on this sword can be sharpened & honed to do serious sawing/cutting as can the blade itself. Very low-profile appearance if you're planning to do "Covert Tactical" stuff & if wielded properly---can be a fearsome dueling sword! STELLAR KUDOS TO BUD-K FOR DEBUTING THIS MASTERPIECE--MAY LOOK GOOD DISPLAYED...BUT WILL SERVE BETTER AS A TACTICAL WEAPON.

This was a very great buy. It is shorter than the rest of my collection ( as expected) and still very sharp. The serrated part of the blade was not as sharp as I had hoped, but still very much worth the $15.99. All in all, this is exactly what I expected and a great purchase.

Great sword, showed up 2 days after buying it, along with the Knights Sword(also great). It came with a small bend on the end, but with my knife sharpener i quickly got rid of it. O, it also came sharp, very sharp. Overall, great buy for only $16.

I was outside chopping Elephant grass with this thing and a wolf came out of the woods. Had to kill it before it killed me. It went in straight, came out clean. Wolf was gone. If I hadn't have had that thing on me, I would have been in traction for a week! Thanks, Budk.

Only thing kinda wrong was it was a bit dirty. Handle was fine and it came sharp. Awesome for anyone wanting to add to their collection.

came fast, good rubber-like grip, razor sharp. zombie ready

solid blade, sharp, and quite pretty. good counterpart for the tactical scimitar. only downsides are the hilt wrap and the sheath. though those are slight problems in view of how freakin sweet this sword is.

Good blade, especially for the price. The wrap around the handle is crap, but that is easily taken care of with some paracord (4$ on this site, for 50 ft). Quite sharp, and fairly strong. Wiggles in the middle a bit, but that's okay. Quite long as well.

its a great looking blade ordered it on a Sunday got it the following Tuesday , mine was already pretty sharp but the red wrap fell of within in 5 mins of me playing with it . hoping to find something to replace it with soon :/ other then that its a great deal

this is a cool sword. the teeth have no edge on them at all but with that can be fixed with a dremel. I didn't like the wrap on this thing so I took it off and rewraped it with about 25ft of paracord and it is nice. looks like a waste land blade

This is a good cheap sword to start off your sword collecting habit. But there are pros and cons to this sword.<br /><br />Pros: Cheap- Not bad of a price, under 20 dollars until you get shipping costs. <br />Looks nice- It is a very interesting style and really can match your type if you watch Anime.<br />Light weight- Feels like a feather to me.<br />Fast Shipping- Came by in 2 days (if ordered in the week, weekends than it will be in around 4 or 3 days).<br /><br />Cons: Glued Red Wrappings- It is glued to the stainless steel, so don't mess with it too much.<br />Stainless Steel- Since it is short it isn't too of a big problem (Carbon Steel is golden).<br />Small- I was expecting small, but it is skinnier than expected.<br />Not Sharped- Unlike the last reviewer, mine came dull. In fact it took me an hour and 30 minutes to even make it somewhat sharp. I also found out that the tip of the blade is a different angle than the bottom of the blade, which means you have to sharpen the top a lot more if you want it to be nice and smoothly sharpen.<br />Saw- The "saws" are dull and was not meant to be sharpen.<br /><br /><br />Personal Note: This is really not a bad buy for beginners, but for people really into sword collecting, don't get. I am not saying this isn't good, just real sword collectors really want to use it once in awhile, to feel it. This sword was made as a Show and Tell than Battle Ready.

well the materials should be good it is 440 which is good for stainless. however while I like the style and handle the blade is uber thin. Feel that if I were to cut something with these may bend or warp since I am on the strong side. decent for price but nothing id take out when something goes bump in the dark.

Good sword definately looks cool I couldnt wait for it to ship, mine wasnt sharp at all but I still think its a nice sword

do not actualy use this on anything other than flesh/balistics gel/dew bottles filled with water. it will bend and dull pretty damn quick.
