Night Watchman 5-Million Volt Stun Gun Flashlight Baton

I replaced the completely dead batteries that came with mine, and it still doesn't work...basically I bought a $47 club.

I have a stalker, and i like that this gives me a barrier between him and me if anything happens, plus i can beat the crap out of him with it if i need to. Thank you for giving us ladies a choice in our self-defense.

Ok I got this in the assassin kit. It looks threatening and has a... usable light source. I don't think using it as a Baton is going to do it any good but it looks ominous. So it came with two rechargeable 3.7v battery's and they were very very dead. I installed them and charged it for the required eight hours using the ac plug that came with it, which broke almost immediately. I had to adjust the wire position at the output plug to get the red charging light to come on at the baton. So after the charge, I gave it a good test run to see what it can do. Well it failed, I gave it 20 or 30 half second bursts as per instruction no more than one second in the air. After 20 or 30 the electrical discharges it slowed and then completely stopped. No spark discharge at all this is not a good thing. So a fully charged stun baton after a test run following instructions dies well before it would have been able to put a guy on the ground. I removed the battery's to test them with my volt meter. The first one I tested was 3.8v, well it's a bit low but should still work. So I tested the second battery, 1.6 volts..... That battery is bad, no good, junk, it can't handle a sustained load so that's why the voltage dropped and we lost spark, batteries are only as good as the lowest voltage. I grabbed a couple 3.7v ratted battery's out of my go bag and they tested at 3.8v each, good enough for a test but they could use a recharge. So 3.7v is just a ratting a full charge is around 4.2 to 4.35v approx. So I did the same test. I couldn't get it to slow down, I continued the same half second jolts for about 20 seconds and it would not slow down. I gave it a three minute rest and did it again and it worked just as well as the first time. So you may want to test it like I did to make sure the battery's that came with it wont fail when you need it to defend yourself. I pulled my battery's out and tested them again and both were at 3.8v. Ok so once I installed working batteries it worked as it should. Also If you charge the battery's that came with it and they both test at a good charge 3.8v to 4.3v voltage, that doesn't mean they can hold up under a load. So test them regardless of voltage. I charge my 3.7v batteries in a smart charger designed for them, so having the AC adapter wires start to break is no big deal. Also the order in which the main silver button switch works is backwards than they say. First push is stun, second push is light, and third push is off. The light only has three positions not four, 100%,50% and, Flashing. It does not have 4 positions and it's missing, SOS light flashing, and 30%. It has a main power switch on the bottom and you switch the flashlight options by giving the rear main switch and the lower silver button switch half pushes and full pushes for on and off. Well that covers it and I give it 3 stars because of the battery, the charger and the incorect instruction.

So I bought this for my wife so she feels safe at night now in the title it says baton and that's exactly what it is I had dropped it off my couch and it fell 3 feet and now it doesn't work at all.
