Product Description
The wooden club was one of man's earliest weapons, and it gave the wielder the ability to literally crush his opponent. This fierce model gives that early weapon even more brute power and savage effectiveness! It features 21 metal spikes along its head and is made of incredibly strong hardwood. It also has a sculpted handle for a secure grip. This weapon will be a big hit at the medieval fair or with your favorite bunch of barbarians!
Oh it's a fine and heavy club indeed. Itll get rather messy if I catch an intruder.

I read some of the comments and I really look forward to buying this thing. I could easily scrape up enough money to buy it. A lot of people said that there were glue strings everywhere. I really wouldn't mind it because when you're attacking something and trying to kill it, I don't think that it would make much of a difference.

brutal
BRUTAL. this looks home-made which is perfect, it looks nasty it is nasty, the spikes are rough and sharp not cosmetic and smoothed they'll rip your clothing if you snag it - this is a good thing on this kind of weapon. this weapon has only one flaw - the bottom needs a knob like a baseball bat has, for hanging on to it, i'm gonna make up something for that myself then cover it all up with griptape or similar.

Well Its awesome. Shorter than i thought it would look like and there are strands of hot glue all over it, but it is extremely heavy duty. If you swung this at anything it will be seriously injured or may die.

Excellent
Just got my club in today. It's a lot heavier than I thought it would be & the spikes are very sharp. The club is better than what was expected, by far. Although there is one change / alteration I would make to it. With it's substantial weight, I would add some sort of strap to prevent accidental release. This thing WILL do some damage!

Spiked Club
Got my club today and now the wife wants one too! There are some spots where you can see the glue under some of the spikes, but let's face it, for the price I wasn't looking to get a weapon from Gaul! I think this is a fun piece and will buy at least one more if not more for friends!

Amazing product. Great weight and solid, sharp, points. instantly wavered on giving this as a gift as I had intended. Mine appears to be used, and the finish build quality is pretty low (for example, the holes for the spikes were not sanded prior to inserting, and there are glue marks all over the place), but at $14 you cant go wrong with this. It will arouse a primitive energy in you, and bring a mischievous smile to your face when you weild this.

Just like the picture. Good weight. Seems very durable. Definitely worth the price.

In all reality the ONLY bashing weapon you need. This fuking thing is dangerous. This is comming from an army infantryman so I would know.

There is glue all over the end in a messy syrup-y manner holding the spikes in. My spikes were not loosened though. It is nice and heavy. I am afraid to swing it - a full range of motion could catch my leg; or a swing from behind may catch my head. I feels very sturdy an even heavy. Ordered it over a weekend and got it two days into the week. You get what you pay for. And this would maim someone should they attack you...

Very pleased.
Kudos TS.

Just got this in the mail, and it's great! very intimidating looking weapon! the spikes are only glued in, so i wouldn't suggest whacking anything to solid with it, but it makes a great display piece!

spiked club
a real zombie smasher, i am impressed! almost an exact replica of the ww1 trench club used for night raids. i just wish it had been made with a pummel swell to prevent slippage. if you also have a closet full of medieval weapons like me this would be the one you keep by the bed to crush things that go bump in the night. well done bud-k. Possibly the most devastating force one could come across. You don't want to get hit with this. Nice and heavy yet light enough to wield with a singular arm. Excellent distribution of the weight. Diesel metal spikes. Stuck all five spikes on one side an inch deep into a pressure treated 6x6. Great handle. Provides a firm grip and adds a touch of beauty to an otherwise rather mainstream spiked club. Can boost anybodys ego. Be careful. Not suitable for children.

I just received this fine club tonight and couldn't be happier! It's a little heavier than I expected, which for me is good, and the spikes are all rather sharp. There is a bit of glue that sticks out around the bands of the spikes, but nothing that takes away from the simplistic beauty of this item.

Batter Up !
I bought this for playing baseball and the fans go crazy when I get up to bat. The quality of this club is excellent. You will love this club and so will the baseball manufacturers.

Realistic
This club is very realistic and not too heavy so it is easy to swing. The spikes are sharp enough to go through a sheet of plywood and the club is pretty sturdy. A must have for mideval reinactments.
Brandon Farrell Jan 08, 2009 (5 out of 5)
I bought this item on a whim, and I am very happy I did. It just feels good to hold. Its not too long, just enough weight on the front from the metal, and spikes are wicked. For the very low cost you aren't taking much of a risk with this item.
One note though, with enough abuse, as I gave mine, the spikes may come out. This happened after about five minutes of beating on a tree, hehe. They are basically only held in with some kind of glue. Still five stars, because it was gross abuse, and very cheep to replace.

Very Nice! got mine yesterday and i'm very pleased. when you hold it it feels just how a club should feel. and i love how it's under self defense.
Brad Sandberg Feb 26, 2008 (5 out of 5)
I just got mine today and i have to say it is quite wonderful! It is nice and hefty and the spikes are decently sharp. The only thing that isnt so great about it is there is some glue on the wood from where they glued the spikes in and im not sure how sturdy that glue is to begin with. But over all an amazing club! and would do some serious damage! I LOVE IT!
Domenic Santurri Feb 18, 2008 (5 out of 5)
Just about the favorite thing I own. The spikes aren't super sharp but they don't have to be. Very nice feel, good heft.
Ryan Ferguson Jul 18, 2007 (5 out of 5)
WoW!!! This club is no joke...It is heavy, the spikes are steel, and the handle feels great. Cool product, very satisfied.
Fredd Aug 22, 2014 (4 out of 5)
Intimidating and formidable, this club was a fantastic value at under $20. The hot glue residue mentioned in earlier reviews peeled off easily. This club was designed for incapacitating living things and as such the spikes are sufficiently secured.

Unique Collectable
This club is a cool addition to any man cave. Friends can't help but want to check it out. Serious intimidation stick. Up close it loses some of its "WOWness". The spikes and metal work is nice but the club itself could have been done a little better. I had to clean off hot glue and some wood splinters around the drilled holes & the stain looks cheap upclose but other than that it's a pretty cool thing to have. This club with the matching Midevel Hammer hanging behind the bar is truely something people will remember and talk about. Nobody I know has anything like it.

Very Good quality for the price
Spikes are very sharp and one of them had fallen out in shipping but was easy to reinsert with some wood glue and super glue. It is very top heavy with the spikes and could use a wrist strap for added security but very much worth the $20. It does have some excess adhesive on it but nothing that 5 min. of work couldn't fix. Overall very nice for the price.

For $20 this is one kick butt weapon! It's very solid and those spikes are sharp.
Maxwell Greb Feb 04, 2013 (4 out of 5)
Super satisfying to hit things with, but one of the spikes came loose. Mostly the shoddy glue. Some gorilla glue solved the problem, and now I'm happy.
mason keller Feb 18, 2012 (4 out of 5)
i got 2 of them and they truly are barbaric... they look like someone sawed a table leg off a table and attached spikes. these things are mean and nasty. the wood is cheap, but i guess if they used oak it would cost about 40 bucks..for 14 bucks it is worth the cost..but be careful..these clubs can easily kill anything..save them for the zombie apocalypse!
Joe Petrone Feb 08, 2012 (4 out of 5)
good weight but the glue was evident around some areas. Looks a little different from the picture but am not disappointed. Otherwise it is awesome and a great buy for $14. Waiting to test it out.
collector Jan 12, 2012 (4 out of 5)
Overall satisfied
Spikes kinda rusty need self polishing its not black. You can tell these must have been sitting in storage for awhile. But its still a sweet mace with good weight distribution. A two handed model would be an interesting product to introduce as well as a hand loop to secure on your hand to prevent slipping. I have sweaty hands so it would be a great addition to an already awesome weapon. Creating the mod yourself should be easy enough with a visit to a hardware store. Seems solid I am happy with my purchase.

spiked club
very strong, spikes going nowhere. is a little top heavy but that's were the spikes are, it didn't take long to adjust to. this will smash just about anything in your path, very nice handle to keep from slipping or dropping.
junior drew liebfried Apr 23, 2010 (4 out of 5)
looks great, exactly as described, quite sharp
Danny Fournier Jan 07, 2010 (4 out of 5)
this thing is beastly. it is heavy (in a good way) and is thick and solid and very intimidating. one problem though, like 5 or 6 of the spikes came right out when i took it out of the box. i just super glued them back in, but that was still an inconvenience. but whatevs cuz thing thing is awesome
Stephen Hartman Jan 02, 2010 (4 out of 5)
I wasnt expecting a whole lot for the price, and I must say I am happy I got it. It is worth it.

This thing could seriously kill somebody. Its about the weight of a baseball bat with the added bonus of having somewhat sharp, heavy spikes poking out. Regardless of where somebody gets hit, they arnt getting back up. It could easily break an arm or leg, cause massive torso injury, or death if hit in the head.

Quality is less than savory. It looks and feels like a table leg. Mine got here with a problem. The spikes are held in place by glue (which, btw, is all over the place). One of the spikes' glue wasnt sufficient, so I had to super glue it back in, but no biggy.

Sweet for the price. Good handle.
forest dzienis Jan 07, 2013 (3 out of 5)
you get what you pay for. the mace is covered in hot glue strings from the glue that holds in the spikes. the spikes also fall out quite easily so be careful

More of a prop
This thing is pretty awesome and rather intimidating. However, it also doesn't really hold up to well. If you actually hit stuff with it, it may break, mine did. But hey, if you don't go bat s*** crazy with it, it should be fine.
Aaron Raney Aug 19, 2011 (2 out of 5)
Poor Overall Quality
I am disappointed by this club. The wood finish is spotted with streaks of what I assume is glue from a hot-glue applicator. The metal is covered with a gummy, rancid-smelling substance that might have been a rust-preventative oil at one time in the past. Large, glaring spots of rust mottle most of the metal pieces on this device, ruining the black finish on the metal. What would have been an interesting piece to display is instead an eyesore. Overall, I am very displeased.
