Excellent Value
I’m happy with the product. They aren’t sharp so it’s safe to teach kids and novices. Very nice variety, excellent for beginners. Stick well in thick target cardboard. 5 ??

Couldn't be happier.
Right down the line this product is a good deal.
Starting with price:
Wow! More than fair.
Quality: Very high standards for a young persons starter set.
Smile Factor...
My grandson also got a 410 shotgun for his birthday which made him happy.
But when he opened and seen his new throwing stars in 4 different styles his face really lite up!

Good stars
These are good stars, if they were a little larger, about a half inch, it would be great. This set is perfect for beginners. They are easy to lose outside so be careful. Overall they are great.

Ignore the last Review
The throwing star are not meant to be sharp or extremely pointy, try throwing it at your wall they will stick, just because there not sharp doesn't mean there not good.

Not Sharp
This product fell off the mark a bit. Normally, I leave 5 stars; however, this 12 Razor Sharp Star set was the opposite. Sharp and thick as the backside of a butterknife. Not in catalog or the box upon reception stating "starter" or "beginner" but marked Razor Sharp. I got these for my boys and friends who use throwing knives but now they are just toys.
I will still provide 4 stars as the pre-placed holes in each star will make for great Christmas Tree Ornaments. Also, more likely for small kids around responsible adults.

Light
Very light and small. Fun to stick in dart board. Have held up well.I wish they would show picture of Item in hand for scale. Just so you can get idea of size.

Good for practice
I intentionally bought the non sharp stars so my son wouldn't injure himself easily. These fit the purpose. I just wish they had a little more weight to them. Overall a good value for the price. Would likely buy again.

Good product
Good variety of stars, each is different. Only bad thing is that they do not come super sharp, however they can be sharpened very easily. Overall a good product that I am very happy with.

ninja stars
I like them because my students find them easier to use then the sharpened variety because they are light weight. I have been teaching martial arts for more then 40 years and if you use these stars with a softer material like stiff cork board, they stick into the target with sufficient accuracy. These stars are half way decent for the price so you get what you pay for.

Tiny and dull
Bought these for my ten-year-old daughter is a starter set they are even smaller than they appear and they are not razor sharp in the least great for beginner disappointing otherwise

Good Starter Kit
Bought this as a Christmas present for my 9 year old. The stars are small and dull so this set is perfect for him. I've only looked at them, not used them, since Christmas is not yet here (2014). I would recommend this based on situation. Good for responsible kids, but don't go to war with them.

Throwing stars
I bought this star set and found that they came fairly quick, but they all wher not sharpend at all. They came as dull as a baseball bat? But luckily I have the knowledge to sharpen them the correct way my self, so no biggy really! I have gotten many things from BUDK and I rate all I get. There a good quality co. And the fair prices is good! Some of there blades come dull but that might be a procedure or law or something along those lines? All & all I think if you want quality your just gonna have to get what you pay for!!! Out mike d

Very Small
These are VERY small. They should have a pic with a reference so that you know how small they are. I bought these for a 12 yr old, so if you really want to buy these for a younger child, then they may be what you are looking for. But they are very light and dull. So throwing them more than 5ft or at anything other than a cardboard box, these are not for you. Some of them have a hole in the tip so you could literally wear it on a necklace, or even put one on a keychain. Basically these are TOYS. Fortunately I decided to buy some others as well that were pretty decent. I won't be buying these again.

eh...
These aren't sharp... It's like they had some extra metal from other stuff and cut out in the shape of stars. Plus they're way to small to fly far. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because they are fun shapes and it's fun to add skuriken to my collection... I wish I read the comments...
sean Jul 03, 2014 (2 out of 5)
all right
they were dull and they don't really stick the best not worth $15
Dylan Jun 04, 2014 (2 out of 5)
These stars are about as sharp as a wall.
I bought these stars a while ago and haven't gotten around to writing a review. These stars would be great for beginners, mostly because they are so dull. The box says razor sharp, but it is not sharp at all, I was disapointed with this purchase because when it says razor sharp, i expect razor sharp. I kind of got tricked out of my money there because they are not sharp at ALL. They are still fun to through in styrafoam and materials like that though.

Dull
I bought these only reading the description in the catalog when I got them however they where so dull they couldn't evens cut butter. The only thing they are used for right now is as paper weights.

Shoulda Read the Comments!
Gary from Dallas pretty much already wrote my review word for word. They really are more of an addition to a Ninja style Charm Bracelet. My wife already took 1 of each for to use as charms and ear-rings for Halloween ((Facepalm)) **The box states that you should use caution as these things are RAZOR SHARP** Wife says, Perhaps as sharp as a razor that you have been using to do your yard-work FOR A YEAR!! Not trying to bag on BUDK, I have gotten some very cool stuff from them, this just wasn't a positive experience.

very small and very dull
Jason Nov 14, 2014 (1 out of 5)
junk
So I totally should have read the reviews on these! They are total crap! Basically they are only good for wearing as a necklace, they are dull and very light weight and small! This was one of my first orders from this site and I am very disappointed.
Jonathan Sep 15, 2014 (1 out of 5)
Junk
These are crap I got the the points were dull as heck and with that small hole in each of them they seem like that r made more for a charm or ornament the throwing stars
David Whitt Jul 15, 2014 (1 out of 5)
Poor Quality
Poor Quality Vary Unhappy with this product more like key chains impractical for actual use
Susan Feb 11, 2013 (1 out of 5)
Waste of $
The other stars BudK sell are great, but these are a total waste of money and worthless if you are intending to actually use them. Spend the money and get their better quailty stars.
