This Kojiro has a hair-splitting sharp, 9 1/4” 1045 carbon steel blade, which extends from a polished brass habaki and a black and copper colored metal guard. The handle is hardwood wrapped in genuine ray skin and black cord-wrap the same way a katana is dressed. A black and copper colored metal pommel is the complementary piece to the decorative handguard. The 15 1/4” overall tanto sword fits like a glove in a black, lacquered wooden scabbard with black cord accents.
