These Shuriken stars are top notch regarding penetration. You could literally most likely bring down a deer, coyote if precisely hit. If thrown at maximum velocity a perfect hit could be extremely dangerous. Target practice is great with these. Nice pouch that each one star comes with .. bought two and very satisfied with product and BUDK for the best price on the net. I have seen these on other sites for a considerably higher price. Recommended.

Just get my Honshu throwing star. Absolutely Beautiful. The only thing is that it is not sharp. The points are sharp. But still a very beautiful star.

Nice and heavy,sticks into everything. They only draw back is it really sinks into wood and is hard to remove. I will take that all day long. LOL

These are massive and will stick in what you throw at them, for sure. I get about an inch penetration into plywood without really trying. But, if you are at least somewhat accurate, I suggest only taking one throw at a target at a time. The blade edges are thin, and I've knicked both of mine when hitting one with the other. Despite the good quality steel, I'll have to take care of those. Still, an excellent product.
