Product Description
Renowned knife designer Gil Hibben custom crafted this knife especially in 1990 as the first in his annual "Fantasy Series" offerings. It features a razor sharp, double edged 7 1/4" mirror polished 420 stainless steel blade. Hibben's signature stamp is etched on the spear point blade, housed in an included custom genuine leather sheath. The handle is delicately wrapped in silvery stainless steel wire. An gleaming, mirror polished stainless steel oversized guard and pommel completes the iconic Hibben "fantasy." Measures 12 1/4" overall.
This dagger is a thing of beauty. It is something that I love to own. It is not ment to be a cutting or slashing knife. The only complaint is the scabbard. The ?? dagger will fit in it there is no way to secure the snaps not reach to close when the dagger is in the case.
Over all I am pleased.

Very impressed!
Just received this dagger and it exceeds my expectations! The point on this will pierce with minimum effort and it is simply stunning to look at and hold. This is a beautiful piece and a good value, you won’t be disappointed

Hibben, all that needs saying
The dagger, a stabbing weapon that does NOT have to be razor sharp to do its job, is one of the best "fantasy" pieces Gil Hibben or anyone else has ever made. Its clean, sleek lines are timeless and it will look just as sweet 100 years from now. The eye isn't overwhelmed by an excess of metal that serves no purpose but to distract and hopefully create a WOW factor. I am in the process of ordering two complete sets ( Bowie knife, Dagger, Silver Shadow ) for my grown sons so that they can see how real knife work can be done without going crazy with the design. Truly masterpieces fit more for a display case than use.

Consider it a Dagger
I consider this a Dagger as with the Silver Shadow Dagger. Again , it is a beautiful blade, meant more for piercing and stabbing rather than slashing or cutting. I Love both of these blades, they look great and feel great. Although this one has a little more of a refined edge than the "dagger" version, it is still not a razor sharp blade, it will cut, but it isn't meant for slashing.

Great
Gil Hibben's products are great. My Silver Shadow fell off the wall several times, and imbedded itself into the floor without damaging the point. Couln't ask for more in a dagger. Love the silver polished look to it. A ust buy at a good price. (I also paid $39.98 for mine). Get one while they last!

Great
This knife exemplifies quality. It is hefty and well balanced, as well as beautiful. The same can be said for it's smaller cousin. I have them both.

Silver Shadow
I own a number of Gil Hibben's knives and have never been disappointed. This knife is no exception. It is definitely a great addition to anyone's collection.

Silver Shadow Knife
I bought this knife from the Ren Fest for 39$, It could be sold for way more though! This knife is VERY sturdy and is VERY pointy, it is an extremely well made knife and it is by far the best blade I've ever bought EVER, don't think about it just buy it, you will be very pleased! I would give this knife 8 stars if I could.

Silver Shadow & Silver Shadow II
I now have both models in my collection and I am very pleased to display them. As someone said, they are simple, elegant, always attract attention, and I've found that they take a pretty decent edge. (I don't collect pieces that cannot be sharpened). Regardless of where they are made, they are well worth the money, and I believe they will increase in value. Thanks Bud K.

Gil Hibben Silver Shadow Knife
It may be made in China, but it is still a "Gil Hibben." The knife itself meets the Gil Hibben standard as far as I'm concerned. It will be displayed between two Commando Black Daggers. I'm sure that it would do a nice job taking down the enemy, but they have it in black also >grin<. Way to go BUDK! Thank you.

Glad to see it.
I was pleasantly surprised to find an older Gil Hibben still available. Each of his knifes has been an excellent addition to my collection. This one is no exception. Well balanced, and aesthetically appealing.

Shadow Dagger
I received my Shadow Dagger today and was impressed with the quality from a Chinese made dagger. The guard is not very tight and the leather is a little dry. I took care of the leather with neat’s-foot oil the guard I will look at tomorrow. As others have mentioned, it isn’t very sharp. To that I say buy a knife as a dagger is a stabbing weapon a knife is a cutting tool.

Silver Shadow
Great looking and balance, well worth the price. Returned 1st one due to loose hilt. Return was easy and the folks at BudK were very friendly and helpful.Great knife and great experience.

Very Dull
This is a very pretty knife, but quite dissapointing in that it is quite dull as it comes, except for the point. I tried a carbide sharpener (item #40FP1) on it and it just produced curls of steel without sharpening the knife at all.

good
this is a nice reproduction, but thats what it is its made in china ,notice it doesnt say any of this in the description, i still like my new knife.. but budk really should add this to its description of the product
