Gil Hibben Large Throwing Knife Triple Set

These knives are great quality. Although I have no idea why they would make the wrapping so cheap. After my first round of throwing, the 1st thing i did was rewrap with my own paracord. I have a set of SOG knives i throw alot, and they need to be wrapped so luckily i already have experience with that. There are actually grooves for the paracord to start and stop on on the handle. Theyre a little smaller than i usually throw, but thats not really a bad thing. They do have the same weight as a set of 10 inch throwers i have. Id highly suggest these, especially at the price. Ill probably change the way theyre wrapped now, but i just wanted smething quick so i could throw em lol.

I received 2 sets of these last year as a gift .. They have been excellent for throwing competitions, holds an edge amazing for butchery. Well built , never disappointed

These knives are at about the minimum size and weight to be useful for throwing. They are of solid design. Only minor complaint is that they are stainless and doubtful they will hold up, which is ok at this price point.

I added a 7 foot length Parachord with a loop on the end the knife is so balanced that a mere flic of the wrist can deal devastating results. I have plans 4 these knives they are missles on the end of a chord, rope dart perfection, easy to deploy

First and foremost, they work great. Balance is nice and they end up in the tree more times than not. I'll get better with practice. The paracord handle was disappointing, because so little glue was used to keep it on. On all 3 knives, the paracord unraveled after only a few throws but they still were great to throw. I bought some contact cement and coated the handle, then re-wrapped the paracord on all 3 knives. I think this time they're on there for good. I'd definitely buy these knives again, and maybe coat the paracord handles with contact cement and letting them sit for a day before throwing them. That might do the trick.

Received faster than expected. The knives are sturdy and well-made. They are too sharp for throwing knives but it is a fixable problem. Overall, I am satisfied.

Awesome knifes for the money there strong balanced and I was hard on the knifes. I threw them horizontal and vertical and was not able bend or break the tip.the was very forgiving and sticks great, recommend to all.the cord does come off easy but you don't need it The knife takes a beating.l bought a few sets of these knifes,a lot of fun to play around with.great set of knifes for the beginners and experienced to practice with.

The only problem I had was when the shipped the had a bent tip. But it only took a minute to file out. Overall I love them.

strong knives I have had them for about 5 weeks and they are still sharp and tips do not bend.

i love these knives. perfect balance. great weight. i bought these in FEB. and they are holding up nicely. i have yoused them alot and they are very solid but not brittle. great over all thrower. if i had too choose any kind of fault with this item it would be this 1 minor default. the cord wrap isn't very solid. and tore over time. so i when the cord finally snapped i took it off and scraped off the access glue. it took a while. but it didn't effect the balance or throwing quality of the knife at all. p.s. iv been buying from this sight for a lone time and iv learned 1 very important fact. IF ITS NOT BRAND NAME, OR ONE THAT YOU KNO WELL CHECK THE REVIEWS. otherwise its hit or miss
