Gil Hibben "Expendables" Bowie Knife with Leather Sheath

The Hibben Expendables bowie is a masterpiece. The issue with a tight sheath is easily solved by pushing a pool cue into the sheath down to the clip point and leaving it in for a day or so. This the best knife in my collection.

I've been buying from BUDK for ages. I thought I had the best of the best with my Rambo III Bowie. But this Bowie is the most Magnificent BEST QUALITY LARGEST one I have ever seen or owned.! It is 19 3/4" overall HUGE, came with a RAZOR SHARP Blade, super HIGH POLISHED almost like chrome finish, with detail you'd expect to find in a 300.00 to 400.00 knife. The Leather quality used for the Scabbard is very nice.! You can not find anything to say bad about or criticize about this Bowie. For the price I'm going to buy another one just to collect so I can carry and show off this one.! -- BUY IT WHILE YOU CAN. !! Thanks again BUDK !

This blade is perfect made and fits the scabbard very well... The guard was loose but not so bad... I still really like this blade... W O W...

This is the first expensive and nice knife that I bough. I have only taken it hiking once and didn't even pull it out of the sheath (which started falling apart within the first week). I was willing to look past that however I just tried to some wood and the gold plating along the back of the blade came off. It's a very impressive knife so I don't know if mine was a defective one or if they are like this. For 100 dollars I expected more. Especially with the names attached to this item.

I just received mine the other day. this thing is so bad ass, it definitely does not not disapoint. I've yet to take it out to put it in action. this knife is so impressive, my girlfriend said she actually hopes someone would break into our apartment, just to instill the living fear of God into them.

it's just shy of being a short sword the only oother knife i have that's bigger, is my Predator machete. it is an intimidating monster of a blade.

This is the sharpest factory edge ive seen. I did the shave test with it and it past. I also found out it cuts flesh very very well too. Dummy me was putting it in the overly tight sheath, my hand slipped and my finger went down the blade. Yipee. But other than the sheath being to tight i love it.

Excellent piece of Gil Hibben's work. I love the knife and would recommend it to anyone. I will use one of my other knives for work. This one is a collectible!

This knife is huge i love the expendables movies and this knife just makes me love them more it is almost as long as my arm (stops almost at my wrist) and i plan on purchasing the other two expendables knives in the future . Thanks BudK

Man, what a knife to me it's the best bowie knife I have ever seen or had. I have been a knife collector for around 10 years or more, and this bowie is my favorite it was actually a gift from my daughter because she know's how I love knives. So guys I would definitely recommend this knife. Thank you BudK

Awesome and Well done Knife, however the sheath could use some work.

I received my bowie the other day and I must say, Im impressed. There is nothing that can compare to the size of this knife. It feels well made and the plastic handle feels solid, not lie hollow plastic. It is very shiny and came with a decent edge on it. The sheath seems good quality but is very tight at first. After leaving the knife in it for a day or two it will loosen up though. The image on the handle has not worn off for me yet and Ive been carrying it and handling it quite a bit. My only complaints are that my knife arrived with several scratches on the blade and guard and the sheath is very tight and has no snap. Overall, I cant complain about this beast.

This is the biggest knife I've purchased, 13 3/4 inch blade and 19 3/4 inch overall. Width is 2 1/2 inches. Beautiful knife. My only complaint is that the guard is a little loose. The sheath is OKAY but it's a little small on the non-sharpened side. It does aide in a tight fit since there's no snap to hold the knife in. Overall it's an awesome knife and recommended to purchase.

This knife is a monster, gigantic and thick black, nice guard, and sheath. Made pretty solid and a wonderful little show piece or something to show off. Now I would love Hibben to make a solid wood handled one, a full tang one. My only gripe with it is the plastic feeling handle, and that is all. So definitely worth the buy.

the knife is a work of art, just beautiful, hefty, not cheap in any way. the problem is with the sheath..it smells very musty. kept it outside for 2 days but did'nt help. i had to trash the stinky packaging. UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE SHEATH. COME ON BUD-K HELP OUT. THANKS
