Product Description
Combat Commander expertly takes tried and true historical weapon designs and updates them for modern warfare. The Trench Knife is a sleek and modern, battle-ready version of the iconic trench knife. It has a 7 1/2” 1065 high carbon steel blade with a hard, black coating. The traditional knuckle knife handle has been given a tactical upgrade and features a skull crusher pommel. The handle is of cast metal with no-slip rubberized grip inserts. A nylon sheath with fastening grommets houses the blade. As always, Combat Commander is your go-to for tactical, high-quality weapons that will back you up!
This thing delivers on all angles, the skull crusher is a very nice touch!

Great Defense Weapon
I was just absolutely amazed when I unboxed this Knife. WOW! Just an impressive piece of hardware. I have since then purchased just about every Combat Commander knife they make. And I got to say, they are all equally impressive. Get yourself some of these, you won't be disappointed, I surely wasn't.

New favorite here too
Just as I was going to review this knife, I saw someone had put forth exactly the same sentiment as I was planning to put forth - NEW FAVORITE. My previous favorite was my SOG Desert Dagger, and I still cherish that blade. But this knife feels *SO* good in the hand, and feels so sturdy and powerful, and even looks intimidating, more than it should for a knife its size. I don't have data about the actual resilience against mechanical offenses, as I haven't put it through such paces yet. Nonetheless, I don't have a problem putting money down on this knife, certainly as much as the knife itself costs, in terms of it surviving largely intact and still usable. Of special note are: a fantastic matte black blade coating; a handle perfectly sized with perfectly-designed knuckle guards; the latter guards being of such wicked shape and the sturdiness of this feature as well. Add to that are cross guard features that may aid in the capture of opposing weapons, if such an unlikely occasion should present itself. Lastly, look at the pommel - a freaking nasty solid-steel spike, fear-inducing in its own right. This one will be tough to beat ... although I daresay there are some potential contenders on sale now and some on the way to my domicile already. Much great steel to be had out there for the prices.

Combat Ready
This is a knife that is truely combat ready as it is well made of high carbon steel and honed with an edge that is extremely sharp. Everything about it catches your attention and reassures you that it can take the punishment you put it through and will get you out of the worst hand to hand combat with an opponent. In the description it states that the finger wells have a rubber coating inside them for better grip but it actually doesn't. But once you put this knife in your hand and put your fingers through the wells you'll find that it fits and feels just as secure. The spike on the end of the handle can cause a lot of damage in itself not to mention the knuckle guards which have a nasty looking design that is guaranteed to inflict significant amount of damage also. If you're looking for a knife for self defense this one should be at the top of your list. I know in some states they have a limit to the size of the blade that they will allow you to carry. It also has a nicely made sheath to carry it in.

.
I would like to know how you call this knife quality, battle ready and rely on it when it's not full tang and the handle is die cast? Fine for the shelf.

Great gift
I received this for Xmas and was very excited when I opened it. Sharp out the box and surprisingly solid construction this knife could do some serious damage. Very much recommend.

Got this trench knife as an afterthought on a recent purchase. Once I started testing it out, it quickly started to impress. Rock solid knife, sharp blade, and good edge retention. If I need a close quarters weapon, I’m grabbing this baby.

Best trench knife I ever owned.

Wicked looks
I really like this knife. The finger holes are a tad small for my paws, and I realize it's not bulletproof full tang construction, but in a pinch, I feel quite sure it could deal some real damage before failing. At it's price I'm not looking for a collector's item. Just it's appearance might make some jughead think twice before taking me on. Overall pleased.

Only a full tang knife is going to be strong enough for real world war environment
Too bad it's not a full tang knife, I wouldn't trust my life on a knife like this, as a welded 2 piece knife will surely break in a real "world war" type environment
