Product Description
You will be absolutely combat ready with the Combat Commander Saber Sword in your hands. The saber has been a tried and tested battle weapon for more than 1,000 years. The full-tang, 30" sharp blade is of 1065 carbon steel and has a black hard coating finish. The handle is fiber filled ABS with a soft textured TPR covering and is as tough as they get! A nylon sheath with a protective PVC liner lets you house it with ease. It is 36" in overall length.
Not unlike an 'AK of swords;' simply, reliably and durably made and even quite beautiful.
No distal taper on the hidden-tang blade yet the modern handle materials leave the sword just as light as any other saber, basically a heavy cavalry saber somehow at the weight of a normal one.
I'm very happy with the purchase, certainly a battle-ready sword I feel.

Good sword
Came sharp out of the box. A good cleaning was needed. Light weight for a saber. With some skill it's a solid weapon.

It is a good blade
The design is stealthy and a cavalry style saber. This is not nearly as heavy as traditional cavalry sabers, and is light but formidable. It has characteristics of a katana/ninja tool, and I'm happy to recieve it in great shape. The chiseled point is an awesome idea. I think it is good value, and would recommend it without a doubt. Not mean't to wave around as a foot soldier sword because sabers like this would be used by mounted cavalry. The reach would ensure your safety while defending yourself from being eaten by cannibals or zombie infected walking dead. Recommended!

Very Functional
The Saber or whatever you want to call it (BFF, Long a** machete ) it does the job. Living in high mountain country you need REAL equipment that can dish out hard brute strength & survive. This is NO TOY.

Cool
This is an awesome saber. Not razor sharp but sharp enough. It's just too long for me. If the blade was six inches shorter, or if I was six inches taller, it'd be perfect for me. Super cool sword none the less.

B+
Well I just opened my CC saber and i am generally pleased! It's weight is negligible: all reviews that say it's super heavy are false or written by guys with no muscles. This sword is light weight & easy to wield. However, the blade had a slight warp (poor quenching, likely) and there are hammer/mallet marks where someone tried to fix the issue. Its very superficial though, and not a deal breaker considering the low price tag. This is a good sword!

Exquisite!
No exaggeration. This is the deadliest weapon I now own. It arrived today, and after wielding it, I have to say that the different swords I practice with, especially the '300' style sword I bought from Budk, all got me ready for this widow maker! Cleaves to the hand, seemingly flows with the movement of the body. Structured so that it feels light enough to maneuver well, and heavy enough to cleave, slash, pierce, dissect with the best of them. Purchased on special with a discount and well worth paying the full price. I am very happy with this product.
Thanks

Great looking, but bent.
The sword arrived, I looked at it and it's plenty thick enough to be used as a saber. It's reasonably sharp, and while I'm uncertain, I think that the finger guard (p-guard) may have steel at its core, which would be a nice touch if true.
Thing is, mine came bent. Not the sweeping curve of the blade, but laterally bent as if it didn't survive the hardening. It's too bad; I'm sending it back for replacement as it looks like it'd be a great 'beater' saber/cutter if it were straight.

Definately could be improved
Doubt this will get published anymore than last 3 attempts but here goes, poorly balanced, blade not set into handle squarely, slight bend in blade, only moderately sharp. Belt straight hang sheath totally impractical for a blade this length. Shorten it by 5in, redesign the sheath and improve quality control and it might be ok.
