Product Description
This replica sword duplicates the rapier design used in Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries. This item features a 36 1/2" stainless steel blade. The handle offers a wire wrapped grip surrounded by an authentically styled black twisted steel guard.
The hilt can be a little unstable, so it takes a little tinkering to get it to stay. The blade is dulled, which is good, since it prevents accidents. It is a beautiful sword and a nice addition to any collection.

excellent piece for the money spent. the guard was a little wobbly at first, but if you twist the knob at the bottom of the hilt, it tightens and fixes the problem. although it isnt as light as most rapiers, it makes a beautiful collection piece. it looks even nicer if some form of polish or sealing is put on the guard to shine it and to prevent flaking.

ABout the best rapeir I've seen for the price. It function [erfectlt as I was hoping, most of the weight is at the handle allowing complete control over all your thrusts. The bade itself lasks ANY edge, its falt, but the tip is very pointy. The basket is also very elegant. Everything is solid and the blade has a nice spring even when stabbed into a tree. Only problem I had was that the sheath was limp but really the blade is perfect and that is all that matters.

This is a piece of art if are a collectionist and if not is petty good for practice perhaps I suppose for duels too, the sword is no sharp but in any case how need a sharp rapier? the rapier is not for cut, the sword is very thick for a rapier and indeed can hold a katana strike is extremle long simple a exelent sword

Decent sword. It will stand up great to another rapier but not a katana or heavy duty blade, though this style of sword isn't supposed to. It is slightly difficult to get in and out of its sheath. It is not sharp at all, not even the tip. I do not recommend sharpening it as it should primarily be used as a training/display weapon.

Disapointing
When I first received this item the first thing I noted was that the guard is extremely loose. It would rattle around quite a bit when I would hold it. Because of this there are scratches in the paint of the pommel. The second thing I noticed was that I had not actually gotten the scabbard with my shipment, even though i received the two other items that were ordered along with it. I am very disappointed that for this high a price I got such a low quality product. BudK really messed up with this one.
