Product Description
The unique feature of our Black Legion Special Force pocket knife is that it has a built-in LED light that unfolds from the handle. This is your total utility knife when you’re out on a mission! The 3 1/4" black 3Cr13 stainless steel blade features serrations and has a quick assisted opening mechanism. The ergonomic handle is of black aluminum and features a special force medallion. The pocket knife also features a glass breaker and seat belt cutter. Batteries included!
Important first-time use note:
To prevent battery drainage during shipment, the built-in flashlight's battery compartment contains a small paper disk that serves as a barrier between battery and power contact. The integrated LED flashlight will not turn on until the paper disk is removed. Before using flashlight for the first time, simply unscrew flashlight top to reveal battery compartment, then remove paper disk and discard. After ensuring batteries are properly seated on contact point, screw flashlight top back on and activate LED by twisting. *Disclaimer: Battery may need replacing upon receipt.
Knife was awesome, however the light was poorly designed, bad location and never stays on IF it comes in.

Best pocket knife I've ever owned
I've had one of these knives for years, I used everyday as a cutting tool, and carried it with me everywhere as a self defense tool, it stayed sturdy and sharp the entire time I owned it, and gave no signs of giving in. I let my brother borrow it, and he lost it, so I will be purchasing another one. Lol

might get more of these knives.
fits in my hand nicely. found this knife and others in your close out section and BUDK knives sell for a lot less. i have so many different knives, trying to justify getting more.

Solid Knife, Big.
Arrived sharp & in great condition, but like others the LED was non functioning, but replacement of the Battery set solved it. Hard to read but the Battery type is- LR621 Button Battery. Easy to find on Amazon.

Surprisingly good
I bought it cause I was tired of losing $100+ pocket knives, that I use to cut seatbelts or smash a windshield (former flight medic both military and civilian).
Received them, and out the box they were literally razor sharp (shaved a bit of my neck) very sturdy and a good heft to them. They are now my EDC knives and more expensive ones are now car knives. Even ordered another pair for wife.

Great item for first responders
Sturdy construction, sharp blade and a bright little flashlight. What’s not to like?

Good knife, poor light.
Like other reviewers, I wish this knife had a 'real' on/off switch rather than just twisting the end of light to turn it on. I have not had the knife long, but already the light has come on while in my pocket. To keep the light from coming on, you have to unscrew the head of the light so it is in danger of just working it's way off and getting lost.
As for the knife, it is good sized for my hand (I take a medium glove) and the blade is very sharp. For this price, I bought several to put in the vehicles and one for my pocket.

Nice Knife
I like the look and feel of this knife. Rugged for EDC. I only wish is that they put the pocket clip on the other end for quick deployment ! Try it and see what I mean !

Great Pocket Knife
Since i have gotten this knife, i have carried it everywhere i go. I feel safe with it, it could become a tool for self defense or, a help for a disaster. It has a flashlight for a power outage, or a darker place, it has a seat belt cutter in case of a car accident, a glass breaker, and most importantly a blade. This blade is a sharp one for a pocket knife. I would recommend this knife for camping, self defense and rescue.

Better than expected
I didn't expect much for the cheap price, but the knife packs a big punch. Seems hefty, holds up well. i love it.

Nice
The best $10 knife I ever got. Sharp, flicks smoothly, nice weight. The light works fine not bad for 2 fins.

Nice knife, terrible light.
The knife itself is pretty lightweight and comfortable to hold. My only complaint is that the LED light only works when it wants to or sometimes not at all. If you're looking at this solely for the light option then I would pass it up.

Its pratical, and its sharp...just trust me on that.
After finding out it actually DOES come with batteries, this become my every day carry knife. The spring works like a charm and the blade itself is very, very sharp (tested it myself ;)). The light is a little disappointing, doesn't work well outdoors but for the price it makes a good light to use inside when the power goes out, and its an LED so it'll last you till the end of time.
Practical, sharp, and good looking to boot, I recommend it if you're looking for the next knife in your collection, or you're just in the market for something to carry around or keep in the glove box.

Twist On & Off?
Came back to try to find a way to turn the LED off. Apparently once you remove the paper and screw the cover back on the light stays on permanently. I guess I'll have to carry with the light cover half way unscrewed. Other than that it is a sweet little knife. My 5th or 6th purchase from BUDK and still very satisfied with every purchase. I just really wish there was a button or switch to control the LED.

Light gets in way/can break-off if used in sawing motion.
Light is cool to have but can break-off/be obtrusive if being used in saw motion function. Light cap comes lose and falls off of you don't pay attention to keeping it tightened.

Not a field knife
Overall blade is sharp, the body is sturdy but the screws are not made for roughing it backpacking through the woods. Started out with loosing the pocket the clip for it and then the blade came apart from said body after backpacking in the woods for a week. Overall for your price, not a bad little knife for just having on your person. Would not recommend if you are looking for a field and stream knife.

Just ok for the $$$ blade is sturdy enough for basic use, light works good for it's size equipped with 3small batteries that you install only flaw was the discovery of the lost glass breaker that must of fallen off from E.D.C.
