Bought it BOGO before. Solidly made, and it could do some real damage if used as intended. Impressed by it so much, I gave in to temptation and took advantage of that great deal again. This time, one of the clubs arrived with a very slight curve in the head. Given I'm not a judge on "Forged in Fire," as well as the fact that anyone I smack in the face with it or use it to break some bones won't be complaining about the bitty bend in its head, I'm perfectly happy with my purchase and won't be returning it. In fact, I suggest anyone who might read this review should take it that s/he should order one immediately!

I have one for my mini van and one for my daughter’s car. I absolutely love it. Great size and weight. You need at least 2 of these in your life!

I wanted a less than lethal option in my vehicle, this fits the bill, not to mention a friend and I split the cost, and both got one.

Absolute bargain with bogo, ie, $5 each. Yes, it would work well for self defense (i slapped my hand not too hard but it tingled for 5 min). Knobs would make a welt for sure. Yes, great backscratcher, 3rd is muscle massager. I slap my shoulder to loosen up that super tight muscle. Those flexible rubber knob/ball type massagers are way more than $5 + not as sturdy. Plus, this "club" is perfect size for vehicle, just stick on floorboard next to seat. Very pleased.

well made for a smaller item yet big enough to do what it is meant to i used it to pop myself only semi hard in the shoulder to test it out it works well will not be doing that again highly recommend this item to any one who needs something for self defense

It is constructed with some really thick rubber/plastic that hurts when you get hit by it...and its spikes make it work really well as back scratcher ;)

Different from what I expected, rubber baton with a flex an snap action. Sure it will do some damage on contact.

The pointed rubber ends at the bottom, make for a good back scratcher. Two uses for one device.

Got for training showed up with damage and tears. Agreed would make good back scratchers. Not for long term serious uses
