Product Description
This Butterfly knife by Bear and Son Cutlery is light and durable and a perfect fit for anyone! It features a 5” hollow-ground, stainless steel blade and black die cast handles. Each Bear & Sons knife is handcrafted in the USA in Jacksonville, Alabama. This item cannot be sold in CA, HI or NY.
Sister got it for me for my first butterfly, handles both broke at three months. Overall good knife. But its built for use, not abuse. Beginners be warned. Nothing beats the feel of die-cast, but for durability stay very far away from die-cast. That said, overall great knife, thx bear, after five months I am now an advanced flipper and competing in local competitions. I will be purchasing their products in the future.

GREAT KNIFE!
I purchased this knife for my wife and had her nickname engraved on it. It looks FANTASTIC!
Pros.
-PRICE!
-super sharp!
-great weight and fairly good balance, though a bit heavy on the handle side imho. 149.0g
-good quality steel
-drop point is angled nicely.
-handles feel good
-engraving is super easy to read on this knife!
Cons.
-latch is a bit sticky, just have to keep flipping it and I used some WD40 and it loosened up a fair amount.
The wife loves it and I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is the best butterfly knife that I've seen for a cheap price. Usually I don't buy cheap butterfly knives because they break easily but this is a sturdy knife that comes out of the box greased and ready to flip

Very durable
It's a very good knife for beginners if you want to flip it, I wouldn't recommend it for a EDC, it has lasted me 2 years and it's still going strong with a lot of scratches on the safety lock or pin.

Had mine for a while I keep losing it,,, but let me tell you it's better than any butterfly knife I ever owned...and shaper I accidentally stabbed myself in the hand trying to catch it...liquid stitches would have worked...but I couldn't admit to my wife she was right so I let it heal by itself. ? Lol..buy this before it runs out.

Outstanding, shipping and handling was a little high. The knife itself is high quality and exactly what I was looking for. Made from high caliber metal and very sharp. A little tight, but after some use it will be perfect. I'm pleased with my purchase.

This is my first ever butterfly knife, and my very first purchase, along with a spring assisted knife. I've always wanted one, and this is just what I expected. It is very sturdy, and has a good weight. It's not too sharp, but it still cut me a little bit while I was flipping it. The latch is a little loose on mine, but that's not a problem. Very nice. Definitely going to buy from here again

It had been 14 years since i last owned a butterfly knife. Got it out of the box held it in my hand and like riding a bicycle i was opening and closing it faster and faster. The blade came sharp, tried to shave with it not quite that sharp but its not not neccesary cause its a balisong not a razor, the bottom lock is a little stiff, but it feels like it'll loosen up over time. Nice knife for the price.

Easily one of the best butterfly knives I've ever used. It has well made handles and the balance from blade to handle is really good. Nothing wrong besides the blade was dirty when they delivered it.

Decent Enough
Not exactly top quality ... but for 29.98 and free shipping ... it's well beyond what one would expect for that price. My only complaint (ergo four v five stars) is the latch, which is exceedingly loose. Would I purchase this again? For the price paid? Yes!

Not nearly razor sharp, but sharp enough! Easy to sharpen up.

It comes pretty stiff out of the package, but after about five minutes the handles loosen right up. Good balance, the handles are a soft metal, not plastic like they apoear to be. Very nice point. After about an hour of use, I got it down well enough to confidently flip with my eyes closed.

One complaint, after a short while, the lever would flop around and I ended up closing it pretty hard, so the lock lever damaged the edge. After this happened a few times, I just sawed it off and plan to replace it with magnets.

Shipped in two days, in a nice box. 4.5/5 stars.

I'm by no means a pro with a butterfly knife but I've been working on it.

From a knife owners/collectors standpoint it's a very stunning piece. Solid blade, matte finish on the safe and bite handles and a good edge. Smooth action with the swing hinges. My only complaint is the safety latch is loose fitting and has to be tightened for a proper fit.

Long Lasting?
I purchased the knife and loved it good feeling weighted perfectly. But after a few months the tang pin on the safe handle broke and the knife was useless. fashioned a replacement but that didn't last long i believe its the bores for the tang pins are to thin.
