great cross bow
great cross bow for a beginner. you will need a rope for cocking . 150 lb. was a little to much this 68 year old man.. over all you can't get a better cross bow for the money...

crossbow
this the first thing I purchased from budk and it did not disappoint me. it was hard to string it. I bent one of my arrows and messed up the tip. the crossbow was at a good price. I would recommend this to a friend.

crossbow
works good, but when and if you buy this one. you may have to buy a crossbow scope mount so you can put scopes on it. i bought a separate scope mount and she works like a pretty much perfectly.

great to start hunting with
I picked this up because I wanted to try archery hunting and everywhere else I looked a crossbow was 300 dollars or more and I did not want to tie that much up into it just to see if I liked the sport. The crossbow works great and once a scope was added it shoots a 4 inch group at 50 yards.

crossbow
i found this bow to be very difficult to string without a stringer. also with the string it was more complicated. I had two of my friends help me to put the string on with TONS of effort but after that the crossboy is great it is very powerful, and basically accurate.

Great for the money
I am new to using a crossbow and like some of the others did not want to pay a lot of money to try it. This crossbow is well worth the money. Seems to be accurate and plenty of power.I have it sighted without a scope and can shoot a consistent tight pattern. Safety is hard to disengage and trigger is stiff. Arrows that come with it are very short (15") and flimsy, bent them almost right away. I am using 18" composites now and pleased. Can't beat it for $80.

Avalanche bow
I bought the 150 lb. Avalanche bow and put a 4X scope on it. Had it sighted at 25 yards with great accuracy. I am an avid bowhunter but never used a crossbow before. I decided to take it out deer hunting. Using 2216 arrows with 125 gr broadheads, I shot two deer both at around 20 yards. the arrows went through the deer. Both ran less than 50 yards before they dropped. This is a cheap way to hunt.
