To be as little as this set is, it sure is powerful. I'm getting ready to order the bigger one next time. This set is good for small game. It's surprising!

Work great
Real sturdy, and drives right into a dead tree. Hard to get back out though, so carry plieres.

Bought with the 80LB Crossbow, great price.

EXCELLENT
I bought this bow right before the holidays had by Christmas. Haven't had any issues of any kind. Took about 5min. to assemble. The dart issues are an easy fix if the fins come out of the shaft. A drop of Gorilla or super glue on the fin push it back in the shaft and your good to go.

What I expected
I shoot these out of a standard CrossBow and they work just fine. I use them for target practice. Sure they break now and then, but they are so inexpensive, I think they are a pretty good buy. Even at a dollar a shot. They fly fast and hit hard.

Pretty sharp and seem fairly sturdy... I have no complaints... Also the Golden color would make them easy to find after shot...

not much to say here. the most one could ask for in the line of pistol crossbow ammunition. very sturdy. fly straight. piercing tip. just put one into a rabbit at about 40 yards. rabbit stew tonight. i wish i ordered two packs.

Good for price and for what they are designed for
For those complaining they break.. of course they do if you hit something solid.. They are not designed for infinite use. They are pretty much for using without expectation of reuse much. If your target is soft, you can get quite a few runs from them. Hit something solid, they will snap. While the tips are not tight by any means, I just use a bit of gorilla glue and that makes a big difference. I also do not hit things up close as the crossbow itself is pretty strong and these are meant to kill small game.. so of course hitting hard objects, they are not going to last.

decent bolts but id get plastic.
These bolts are alright but are too easily broken, they fly great but you'll be replacing them often. I would suggest buying the plastic ones. They're cheaper and surprisingly a bit more durable.

ehhh....
The weight is right and they fly much better than the plastic bolts, but the manufacturing seems to vary. i.e., some packs have screw-on tips, others seem to be press-fit. I prefer the screw on because it's easier to make exploding bolts. Also the fins are fragile to say the least.

darts
I got this to go with my pistol grip crossbow. These darts are pretty low quality because the shaft was aluminum for about 3/4 of the body then there was plastic wings that were screwed on the aluminum. It fly's nicely but the wings broke off if the dart hit the target diagonally. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate spelling.

These break way too easy at the tip and where the 'vane' meets the metal tube as well
Bad. If you hit anything solid, tree, ground or even part of a target holder, these break. They snap either the vane off where it meets the metal or the tip. They fly true but if you hit anything other than a very soft target, they become a one shot use.

Not worth it
I purchased a pack of these with the 80lbs pistol crossbow and found these things break way to easy. The 3 bolts that came with the crossbow seem to have a different type of plastic fin which is more flexible as I've shot them several dozen times with no issues. These darts break after 2-3 shots or worse yet the fins just pull out of the shaft when retrieving the bolt from a foam target. I used some epoxy to secure the fins only to find out that the tips are also just pressed into place... That is, the tips are not screw-in. Don't waste your money, get the plastic bolts.

Very breakable...
Almost every single one i shot the end piece would break off or the tip would come off. Not very built to last more than 3 shots each...

Defective Material
All of the flights broke on impact with a cardboard box in four shots or less even though they were supposedly for an 80 lb bow. The plastic is just too brittle. I advised BUDK that these were not up to the quality of every other product I have received from them, that they were doing their customers a disservice by offering them and should discontinue them. Several months later, they're still here and at a higher price. Don't waste your money on these. If your heart is set on aluminum bolts then spend the extra money to buy some quality bolts. These are not them!

Terrible
These are terrible, at best. First one shot broke, same with 2nd. Shooting at soft target broke first one. 2nd broke while leaving the mini-crossbow. These would be great if the plastic they use was not brittle - very brittle. Bought a couple of packs of the black plastic darts and they work well.

They suck!
I really liked the Cobra Crossbow, two bad the arrows suck! At first glance, arrows look great, aluminum shafts with metal target tips. They shoot great, but your lucky to get more the one to two shots before plastic fins break off. I bought a crossbow target from gander mountain and stops arrows great and easy to pull out. The arrows just can't handle the impact of the target. Looking for better bolts, but don't seem to be any out there for the pistol crossbows? If id had known this, i wouldn't have bought it.

Break too easily
I bought a proper target made for shooting a crossbow and these bolts keep breaking. Not cool. Don't buy these. But now I am not sure where to buy bolts for the 80lb crossbow I purchased here on budk. So maybe don't even buy the crossbows here.

breaks in one shot
These bolts darts are terrible. every single one I've shot into any number of varying materials the tail breaks off on the first shot without exception. DO NOT BUY.
